Tampa was fun! We had a great time. From our hotel room at the Marriott Waterside we observed these graceful looking birds floating on the thermals. Were they eagles, hawks, ospreys? No. They were turkey buzzards! They did not seem quite as graceful after learning that.
Since there were so many presentations we each wanted to hear, Kathy and I split up so we did not miss any, but we still did miss out on a few. Our focus was on information that could help us improve the client experience in our studio. After we left Tampa we knew we would need to make some physical changes to our studio. We determined that also we needed to improve our communication with our clients to better fill there needs. Hence the impetus to finally get this blog up and going.
One of the places we got to visit was the former Tampa Bay Resort Hotel built in 1891. Tampa University has occupied it since 1933. Kathy photographed it with our Canon DSLR while I used an Olympus C-2020 to capture the exterior in infrared. We only brought a couple of memory cards so we had to shoot in JPEG. Once we catch up on a few things we'll post some of the images.
It's great be back home in our own bed. The time zone thing is hard on those of us that live out West. At least that is my opinion.
